I am not sure what the difference is between the TS100 and the TS101.  From what I can tell, the difference s the TS100 is white, and the TS101 is black.<br><br>The TS101 does GREAT as a NAS, the gigabit network adapter can handle a large load.  The automated backup feature works good.<br><br>However the BitTorrent download is sluggish, an old laptop with a USB HD downloads faster. (What I use) And the webserver is limited. TS-101 is great, I got one in December and put a 500GB HD in. I now download every show I miss and stream it to by Xbox360. Even though the speed is not fast, I still can let it on all day long without my PC on.  No fan, even better.
