As with most GPS, its all about how well the software works and how quick is can calculate a route/pick up a signal. Nice price point too.

gibber9583

Comments on Harman Kardon GPS-300 navigation system loves your media

Looks like this could be running a modified version of NavnGo's i-Go software.

David Horn

Comments on Harman Kardon GPS-300 navigation system loves your media

I have this GPS now so it is available at crutchfield.com . they may not offer a discount but it is available. I have not seen any stores selling it for less than $370 though so i dont know where the $299 price came from. So far i am happy with it and its POI seem up to date. It picks up a signal as quick or quicker than the nuvi 350. The screen is clearer than the nuvi and tom tom one so i liked that.

George

Comments on Harman Kardon GPS-300 navigation system loves your media

George, I think your talking about the H/K 500 which is $399 at most places and has been out for a couple of months. This is the H/K 300 which isn't quite yet available at stores and is expected to be $299. You can see both on crutchfield's site.

Tim

Comments on Harman Kardon GPS-300 navigation system loves your media

Tim - your right sorry.
