I can't believe it's come to the day when I say: "Pocket PCs or non-cellular capable Windows Mobile devices are useless to me". I refuse to go back to the days when I had to also carry a cell phone while I lugged around a traditional Pocket PC.

apeguero

Comments on Acer's Ferrari c500 Pocket PC spotted in the wild

apeguero, I still haven't upgraded to a PocketPC Phone because there is still nothing that truely topples the power of my Axim X50v. I'll echo what John said about carrying two devices because I carry almost the same two - Axim X30 plus Razr V3. The reason is the processing power. Smart phones just don't have the horsepower some of us need for our mobile apps. I use my Axim for doing many things while listening to music on it. Even at 624mhz, I still bog this thing down. So it just depends on your usage. But I must admit, I sure do wish one of those smartphones would perform at the level I need to get 'er done. I'd LOVE to carry only one device in my pockets.

Marc Joseph
