The E-1 was one of Photography's best kept secrets. Ergonomically superior to almost anything out there. Unfortunately most people blindly go for Canikon. (Think different!) Anywho.. Only lens & software-based, and they charge an arm and a leg for the decent IS lenses. Also, Nikon doesn't offer a full frame sensor in any of their cameras, and Canon only offers them in the 5D and the 1Ds. Canon's recent Mark-III at $4,500 isn't full frame and is only a 1.3 crop (some sports photographers may like the extended reach a non-full crop gives). But all those are in the multiple thousands of dollars and are in a total different category and price range of the Olympus DSLR.

Castle

Comments on Olympus teases with E-1 DSLR followup?

please be affordable and come with a lense with actual zoom, please be affordable and come with a lense with actual zoom... *clicks shoes together*

Firebird

Comments on Olympus teases with E-1 DSLR followup?

ONLY APPLE CAN USE THAT STRATEGY SORRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

anthony

Comments on Olympus teases with E-1 DSLR followup?

Olympus is years too late with this.
