Not even close.<br><br>Most major Canadian cities have had 'Portable Internet' from Rogers and Bell for almost a year now. It's based on WiMAX like tech and offer broadband internet speeds (1.5Mb down / 256Kb up) over wireless. We have it here, and they claim 3 Mbps Download.  We pay about 60 per month.  I have an inverter that I keep in my car to plug it in.  I can receive signals in Calgary, Red Deer, and Edmonton... That is all I need for Alberta.  I am just waiting for a Laptop Card that will do the same thing.
