I certainly hope this does not come true. It's terrible when good companies get swallowed up by bad ones; I already have plenty of options if I want to throw my money away on crap, so there's really no need to take another company over to the bargain bin market.

Marshall

Comments on Acer / ECS looking to pick up Shuttle?

ive always wanted to build a shuttle pc of my own. just havent done it yet. at least theyll still be around, and not belly-up.

_man1c_

Comments on Acer / ECS looking to pick up Shuttle?

Shuttle is going down!!! :) First I would like to say congrats to Shuttle management!! Especially to M. Wu, C. Wu and J. Wang. To any potential purchaser, let them go bankrupt so you don't overpay for the company like their customers overpaid for their crappy SFF computers. Shuttle tried to be like Apple and sell overpriced PCs. Those of you that think Shuttle makes the best machines, you must be accustom to very low quality. Even eMachines are far superior! Shuttle computers are total crap! And, if you had the pleasure to call Shuttle Tech Support or Customer Service you'd quickly realize the company is absolutely horrible and run by non-assimilating FOBs. Again, congrats to Shuttle management and good luck getting working visas.

Ricky Bobby

Comments on Acer / ECS looking to pick up Shuttle?

Oh Gods please - not ECS. It has recently surprassed Lenovo as the third largest PC Maker in the world. Acer's resource could help Shuttle reach higher.

James
