Most of them can play music and videos too. For me personally, if I need that, I just use my computer. I do not need an extra device for that.
Or just read the article. The writer more or less complains that there is no remote. I mean, I would be glad to have not another remoter for another device in my room.

http://www.digital-photo-frame-market.info

Hannes

Comments on Toshiba's stylish Tekbright 7 digital photo frame

Personally I feel that digital photo frames are just a waste of electricity.

Carbonize

Comments on Toshiba's stylish Tekbright 7 digital photo frame

whts the real sense of those digital photo frames?? ?
u can put and photo frame in a corner of the room and show it with some sufficient light..and hola .. its same as the digital photo frame.
and for watching vidoes and all that stuff we have players at our hands..

VVVV

Comments on Toshiba's stylish Tekbright 7 digital photo frame

I think you'll find that the ability to display 1000's of photos, straight from a digital camera's memory card is a major advantage than just "a photo frame in a corner of the room and show it with some sufficient light" !

www.digivista.com.au

Henry

Comments on Toshiba's stylish Tekbright 7 digital photo frame

On that point I agree with Herny.

But I also think that other devices than dpf are better for watching videos or playing music .

Hannes

Comments on Toshiba's stylish Tekbright 7 digital photo frame

A similar spec'd model is available here for $149...
ROCK 7 Inch Digital Photo Frame

Henry

Comments on Toshiba's stylish Tekbright 7 digital photo frame

Hi Herny

I think there is quite a difference between these two models.

First of all, it would be better for you if you write the US$ price and not the Australian $ price. Your 149 AU$ would be about 125 US$. What would the shipment to Amercia cost?

A major difference between the two models is the resolution 800*600 in that Toshiba model and 480*234 in your model. This means that the picture quality of the Toshiba model is a lot better.

Your model does not support USB or other cards, just SD and MMC. Your model also does not include built-in memory (although this is also not big in the Toshiba model).

http://www.digital-photo-frame-market.info

Hannes
