The only thing about the PS3 update I don't like is having to plug the sixaxis via USB to proceed. I should be able to do everything via the blu-ray remote. By the way, PS3 does connect to any Vista connected network media server including Home Basic edition. I was testing the new firmware with connected Vista media server and was able to connect and play to all of my HD *.mpg files. Before, Sony blocked this function. I guess they are being more generous or are they?
