I have a P550 and last time I checked it already had wi-fi ( b/g ) and bluetooth, but woebetide anyone who wants to use either ( both :O ) for any length of time

No comments on rtfa blah blah, I am quite aware I didn't and don't need this being pointed out by the pale denizens of parental basements ;o)

The device has problems and Mio doesn't seem to support it very well. Mine seems to turn off (and won't turn back on) every few days, forcing a soft-reset to get it back on. And the BT in it sucks - very crippled - it's 2.0, but no A2DP, for eg.

I had the same switch on / off problems and Mio have a fix on their website ( been there a few years ) needs a HARD reset to apply but mine's been fine since. Battery life still crap with wifi/bt on but then it will be. Try an external battery device, its a hi-cap battery with USB port and a range of adaptors that can be used to charge many devices.

Oh yeah, when charging your P550 make sure you use the manufacturers 1Amp charger, I have a few 500mA chargers and they just seem to drain the device
