I would love to have this remote, but that $1,000 price tag is keeping it out of reach for me. I much rather put that $1,000 towards a tablet PC and run software to do the same thing with a bunch more functionality. I should really start looking into this more, as I am going to be in a market for a new laptop for myself in the next couple months. Only thing is, I am going to need a linux solution as I refuse to run Windows on any of my main PCs anymore, well, except my wifes computer. I also wonder if I could using something like the Archos 605/705 WiFi as a remote control. It would be interesting though, as I would have to probably run a flash based website and have a PC with some sort of IR extender to pass it to my equipment. Would be neat though, could do all sorts of crazy stuff!

I do have the Pronto TSU-3000 and love it, would like to move to the color version, but don't think I could get wife approval to drop that kind of cash for something I basically already have.]]>Jul 5th 2007 1:31PM
