I can't recommend one of these highly enough, its a great way to get online when traveling over DUN with my cellphone, and a great way to get online when on the road or at home over wifi...

The browsing experience from this device is far superior to my pocketPC phone....

I think this is a great update for the N800. I am aware of "Hacker Edition". I don't know if these new features will be integrated or not; also, it looks like it could be a bit of a hassle to install, and some people have reported it as being unstable on their devices.


My biggest question is HOW ON EARTH did they get Flash 9 support? I was under the impression that Adobe prepared a separate "Flash for Devices" package that they licensed out to e.g. the Wii and the PSP (among many others), which was the only way to get Flash on an embedded platform. Last I heard, they were dragging their feet quite badly, and hadn't released a version past Flash 7 for something like 2 or 3 years. Everybody was up at arms about getting "modern" flash on the Wii, and that was the answer that came back. So, does this mean that Sony and Nintendo can update their "embedded" Flash players to support Flash 9 as well? That would be much bigger news, IMHO. I love my N800, only problem is I cannot find a program that will convert a dvd to a file so I can watch it on the unit. I've tried many programs without success....Any suggestions??
