(S-770 does better pics, not great but way better than the Z model)...

i'm planning on getting that s-880 since I my the S-770 went under water a month ago.

*let get this right ... these cameras are not cannon or nikkon. But they are ok for computer pictures and small prints.

WTF Casio IMO makes great point and shoot cameras - very long battery life, great controls, and menu options.

not sure where people get off dismissing the quality of a product when they have no experience with it.

Oh and just because your smart enough to 'press a few buttons' doesn't mean that it's ok for it to take a 'few buttons' to upload a video - not everyone wants to waste that time uploading videos when one or two buttons will suffice.

I guess your also smart enough to walk up to the TV and use that UHF dial and rabbit ears to tune in a channel. I rather sit back on the couch and press 1 button on the remote.

I've been looking at the Casio digicams that capture wide screen video (864 x 480) in H.264--e.g., AppleTV friendly--so, Casios have been on my radar for a few months.

But keep in mind, EVERYONE says this about the S770, the picture quality sucks balls. I use photoshop to edit my photo's and i do a lot of detail work, so perhaps to the average consumer the picture quality is okay. But the noise on pictures taken by the S770 is pretty bad.

I would hope they improved on that with this new S880.

I can see this feature being very handy if it means Youtube does not process your video-clip when they receive it.
