Well, not quite. Even at 40gb/s (5GB/s) you'd only have downloaded about half an HD movie after 2 seconds. It'd take you that long to download a long SD movie (circa. 10GB).

Speeds like this have awesome potential for distributed storage. You could keep all of your files and your itunes library etc etc in a datacenter and access them from anywhere as if you were opening them locally.
