Its not like they were clamoring to be such do gooders for the last 30 years or anything. But the Nick Neg does a genuine, humanitarian thing, and Intel sees a chance to make more money. BOOOOO!

I am all for capitalism, but give me a fuckin' break. I think the OLPC is a great, grand cause, and can have children around the world learning computing without being locked into MS Office-- who knows what kinds of wonders these kids will grow up and produce after being inspired by these computers they use as kids?

Or, should we just force them now to learn Powerpoint, Excel, and Word. Isn't there time for that prison later? Screw creativity and being different, right?

Intel, get the fuck out of what you obviously don't really care about anyway. Negroponte is doing the best he can and obviously has to dance with the devil on this--- shit like this really pisses me off!!

EDomain

Comments on Intel and OLPC join hands in collaborative harmony

hmmmm, if OLPC gets in bed with Intel, what will happen to AMD?

Andy

Comments on Intel and OLPC join hands in collaborative harmony

if u cant beat them join them..OLPC will now use Intel chips.
