just don't expect for dock remote to work with anything but the volume if you connect something than an ipod to it.
as for a zune dock... the zune needs a little more success before they make every accessory ad nauseum.
but what you could do is buy:

I spent like $200 on a gogear and they go and support the ipod!!! If you go to philips.com for drivers for a gogear they never even updated the drivers to support windows media player 11, they said coming soon for about 2 years now.
