That would also explain the 1GB of RAM, and and shared graphics.  The Qosmio also comes with HD-DVD and some other niceties, but this is a good deal.  I might buy one to replace my POS desktop (would make it better for when I finally decide to leave Korea for good.<br><br>I also noted that the battery is called a special UPS (interruptible power supply), meaning that it will only have enough juice to shut down your apps and power down. I had an opportunity to buy one of these last week- I almost did, actually. It's heavy. Real heavy. It looks real neat for a desktop replacement machine, but not terribly portable.
