What a stupid thing to do. How does his laptop (I refuse to pretend like convertible tablets are so exotic that you can't still call them "laptops") drive him up the wall? My M400 doesn't give me grief.

How is the new Dell tablet PC going to be any better?

How is a NEW Dell better than a 2- or 3-year-old Toshiba? The best laptop is the one that you OWN, because you could afford it, and you were able to purchase it. The fact that Dell's NEW product (that isn't even out yet) has better specs than an old product is not impressive at all. I know two girls who live in the same apartment, have the same laptop, and have the same problems with their battery, ac power, screen, and keyboard.

I think features-wise, this is the most powerfully configurable convertible right now.

On the heavy side though, it's over 2.7 kgs. with computers, it's a one-time cost. you transport a computer and a huge benefit is reaped for a long, long time. thus, computers should never go to waste.
