Cursive handwriting recognition is near 95-98%...so predictive it's scary man.<br><br>It has a real cpu/etc. so it's not like a semi-crippled umpc experience or totally crippled ppc/pda experience.<br><br>Bought refurbished from eBay for $1300...not bad given new units are $2600 and I got extra extended batteries, etc.<br><br>Other tablet pc software (OneNote, Journal, ...) is phenomenal.<br><br>I can take photos on my 8525 and upon sync'g to my tablet pc can then search the graphics and handwriting as text...and it works!<br><br>Finally this crap I've been spending money on all these years is really becoming useful (i.e. I'm no longer the tool...the computer is!).]]></description><dc:creator><![CDATA[Mike Klein]]></dc:creator><pubDate>Jul 31st 2007 1:24PM</pubDate></item><item><title><![CDATA[Comments on TabletKiosk's Sahara i440D Slate PC now shipping]]></title><link>http://www.engadget.com/2007/07/31/tabletkiosks-sahara-i440d-slate-pc-now-shipping/</link><guid isPermaLink="true">http://www.engadget.com/2007/07/31/tabletkiosks-sahara-i440d-slate-pc-now-shipping/</guid><description><![CDATA[This is my next slate! Has a glass screen that won't easily scratch. Wacom digitizer / pen, AND a touch screen. MULTI-touch, I might add. Evidently tabletkiosk has a multi-touch capable transparent on screen keyboard for the device to download that shows off this feature. Woot! Lemur anyone? Can't wait to see more multitouch applications / drivers for XP. If you're a cartoonist or animator, you're going to want this tablet.]]></description><dc:creator><![CDATA[cartoonmonkey]]></dc:creator><pubDate>Jul 31st 2007 4:09PM</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
