Disgaea vid shows off that SRPG action we love
Fan favorite SRPG series, Disgaea is making it's PSP debut via Disgaea: Afternoon of Darknes and GameTrailers has a new trailer that displays a brief battle. For people unfamiliar with the PSP vesrion, the title is a remake of the original Disgaea with additions and tweaks to the gameplay -- mainly the addition of multiplayer support.
The graphics look really sharp (though the Jeanne D'Arc looks better) and gameplay look very true to the spirit of the PlayStation 2 games. The vid is a little short but displays a bit of the nonstop combat you'll experience when the game comes out this winter.
With Final Fantasy Tactics, Jeanne D'Arc, and Disgaea all coming out within a couple months of each other, its going to be a busy year for SRPG fans.
