As excited as I am for this event; that level of soldering and what is at stake is too steep a price. I have fried 2 live hard drives within minutes of each other accidentally touching them to a chassis while I was fiddling around inside my old G4. This is not the hack for me yet. But, I am super proud of that crew. I have my CC ready to buy a refurb the second we have a verifiable software unlock. Then solder a very thin wire to it. Be very careful. Only scrape away at that solder mask above that one trace. YOU DO NOT WANT TO BREAK THE TRACE.
