I actually bought the EX V8 already , at Best Buy this past weekend. I went in to look at EX V7 and they had one EX V8 in stock which they sold to me. My Canon only has 4x, and thats pretty normal I guess. But 7, thats like twice as much, and I can see how the pictures would look amazing, even without the extra megapixels. Especially considering how my camera SUCKS for pictures far away. Apparently marketing also handles engineering over at their office.
