Then again, maybe that would make it more popular as the market will surely be saturated with recently price reduced 5G and 5.5G iPods after next wednesday. As a matched set they could be a good Christmas present for the kids. If companies like Best Buy and Walmart are smart, they'll offer it up for a huge discount on Black Friday.

Not sure what gadgetfreak is talking about... I checked out the phillips model the other day and thought it had a better picture then the other portable DVD players that were displayed next to it. The only criticism I've heard about the unit is how loud the drive is at spin up and spin down, especially when playing Divx or Xvid encoded discs. That wouldn't be an issue if you were playing them off an SD card or the iPod in storeage mode though. ]]>Aug 28th 2007 11:37PM
