I use one slot for my printer (an epson R260) and the other one for an additional 500gb external drive. The NAS will use that external drive and configure it as a RAID. If you dont' want to RAID, you can utilize both the internal and external drives as one contiguous volume! sweet!<br>I had only one problem though...it took SimpleTech 3 units until I got one that worked for more than 30 minutes! That was a very frustrating 6 weeks of hell...but now I have one that's working and couldn't be happier...
