I use a Canon S2IS {stereo sound capture} and a manual focus ring is probably my most sought after feature that I'm waiting for before I upgrade.

Yeah but you're assuming it saves video in RAW which is ridiculous. My panasonic lumix (8MP) can record 848 x 480 video (0.4 megapixels) at 1.55 Mb/sec. The video image will save the frames as jpeg or something even more compressed. Multiply that up to 6 MP (x14.7) brings 22 Mb per sec which your Ducati Sandisk can handle easily. I agree that it's ridiculous amount of resolution and ridiculous amounts of storage but it may just be possible.
