wish the vx6700/vx6800 had built in GPS nav, but that's another story for another time.

Helmi_c and the crew at PPCGeeks and xda have done a phenomenal job of improving the ability of HTC's trusty workhorse Apache platform and this is another huge step.


Two things:
1) if you are unsure of what you're doing, READ ALL YOU CAN about this on PPCGeeks and pdaPhoneHome; after reading if you're still confused DON'T APPLY THE ROM (there is always risk of bricking your phone)
2)Make a donation to Helmi_c -- the time and effort in bringing this functionality is significant and those who do this work deserve our support

I'm currently using Nokia E61i and the performance is FAR superior than the WM. It never crash, installation always work, menu structure and UI are more user friendly. I love this new build! Is this bundled with software that HTC provides? I had never seen the Today screen like this on other WM6 phones.
