Working great so far. Text to speech and 2D/2D images are equal to my buddies Garmin c340. Doesn't have all the frills (MP3,Bluetooth) but serves my purpose. Thinner and sleeker design is great allowing me to remove easily and put in my shirt pocket. Not sure how many POI unit has, but it does show sufficient amount of ATM'S , stores, and gas stations. Considering $99 dollar one time fee realtime traffic option.

James Lewis

Comments on Navigon 2100: 3.5-inches of 3D navigation for the cheap seats

> the SD chip were bad for all the units sent to Staples

Not all. Also, on a trip starting from my house, there is a very quick and direct way to the expressway. My Megellan gets me there almost exactly the way I would drive. The navigon didnt and I had to go into the turn-by-turn directions and put a RED X in some of the directions I didnt want... Only then did it figure out the way I wanted to go.. Well.... it started to but then wanted to take me another way. the Magellan was dead on with the directions...

Dave

Comments on Navigon 2100: 3.5-inches of 3D navigation for the cheap seats

My 2100 was also bought from staples. Worked great until the traffic was activated. Now with the system plugged in I get a constant buffer overrun fatal error. It has something to do with the charger also being a traffic antenna, when it pulls the traffic signal it crashes the system. Great. Now tech support will only take your name and number and promise to call you within the next 24 to 48 hours beacuse they are busy.
