Hands-on with Venzero's entire vapor-less lineup

We like to give Venzero a hard time about appearing completely sketch and vaporware-ish in most of its product announcements and subsequent delayed releases, but it turns out the company very much exists and very much is building and releasing the DAPs of which we speak. So very many DAPs. In fact, Venzero just released that WiFi-capable LINQ player we were talking about a week or so back, which is the company's main offering that really has much to unique or ergonomic to offer -- the SLICKR and the mini are a bit of a pain to use in the button department. Unfortunately, the LINQ doesn't support player-to-player sharing just yet, but the internet radio features and home media streaming are pretty extensive, and further functionality is planned for down the road -- along with some other nifty releases we can't mention just yet. Oh, and before you jump into that gallery, Venzero would like us to remind you that the player interfaces are soon going to be getting a significant upgrade in the sub-menu department, so hopefully the players won't look like shady also-rans for too much longer.

The Linq is by far the most interesting. I am still hoping Microsoft does something more with the zune's wireless (as they have promised) and internet radio would be an awesome feature.

MS Fanboy? I am writing this on my Imac. The zune is a good mp3 player and thats it.

To keep on track, I love small companies like this. Helps keep the big ones (MS, Apple) on their toes.

Yeah, I love the all the 'fanboy' claims that go back and forth. I guess I'm a Toshiba fanboy because I own an S30.

The internet radio feature is really great, and I also hope that the Zune soon incorporates this both in the original version with a firmware upgrade and in the upcoming 2.0 versions. It's a good player. Certainly has a wider range of functionality than the iPod, which is also a good player.

internet radio is a cool feature, im not sure why it wasn't implemented on the first generation zune; it's on the sandisk sansa connect which was relased about at that time. that said i'm probably going to get the archos 605 wifi depending on what is announced wendsday from apple, which i doubt will have the same features at the same pricepoint (as the 605 wifi).

How about writing something a bit more descriptive about the players? I mean, seing them in use is all well and good, but I for one'd like to hear more about them - such as how good the screens are (they look a bit pixelated and blurry, but that might be the photos), how well the interfaces work, how they sound, and so on.
