@zach: If you buy this monitor, you will have a usb cable going there anyways, as it has a 4-port USB hub on the bottom/sides. Believe me, as I own an older 20-inch dell, having this hub is EXTREMELY useful. The side of the monitor is the perfect place for a hub. If you're THAT concerned about cables, then simply don't use ANY of it... Up to you.
