Then eventually came home computers with 32Kb of RAM that had to have software loaded off a portable cassette player. No disks, no drives, no mouse, but we got totally addicted to the damn things and played 16-color games  all night even then! Heh! Nothing changes, really. It would be a nightmare to upload an entire chip full of images.
