Sure, if you know what you're doing, you can make a cheaper rig but what about those who don't want to? Also, they won't sell this case alone and if you bothered to read the review, the case is extremely user friendly and you can easily upgrade any of the parts yourself. The difference in price between your own built rig vs this is, well, all the work is done for you and all the testing too; you get the tech support; HP customized BIOS (which is supposedly better than the standard); and specially designed case (if they did sell the case alone, I'd bet it would be at least $250 similar to the CM832).
