Add about 200 for a decent home made liquid cooling setup (out of box for the lose, amirite?), 100-200 for a sexy case, 300 for hard drives, 100 for a power supply, and you get about $4200.  Did I forget anything?  Got to keep in mind, some this hardware is extremely expensive. Like it says in the article PCs are made of components that are the same everywhere, the name on the [pretty in this case] box means nothing.  <br><br>It's a nice computer, but I could make the same one for much less.  Not that I would mind you, I'd build a £1000 machine that can play every game on the market right now then build another £1000 machine 3 years. Saves a lot of setup time. Pretty close, the Mac price gap used to be a lot more than that.<br><br>Oh wait, that price is for the Mac Pro with the 8-core Xeon. So, Mac have given us the option to install XP or Vista..great but lets face it unless you own a Pro Mac with upgrade options (and not that much choice in the Graphics dept) you are stuck with the shite they give you.<br> Now if HP could somehow wrangle the same deal on the PC side (as in dual OS) i would buy this machine in a second.<br>    But then i guess Apple would be just another software company and only sell hardware to style conscious no brainers with bling on their foreheads.    ....osX on a HP blackbird..hmmmmm, now that would turn heads!]]></description><dc:creator><![CDATA[TrIpPeD]]></dc:creator><pubDate>Oct 22nd 2007 11:29AM</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
