But, let's say the kid DID demand a PS3 though. What happened to "it's better to give than to receive"? You're not supposed to expect anything from saving someone's life unless you're egotistical, imo.

Hypothetically speaking, the kid would have KNOWN he'd get a lot of publicity, so heck, why not let the press know what he wants? It seems he'd be using his dad's ordeal for his own personal gain and I think that would be pretty lame if you ask me.
