There is a gearlog.com article says the 350 is battery powered but it's actually another model that is battery powered. Although it can charge devices over USB. There is some AT&T support at this time, Sprint and Verizon broadband are supported.  BlackBerry support is in the works. I know the 8703 models currently work.
