I've followed Apple stock since I purchased in 2000, (around $12 per share, considering the split), and pretty much without fail aapl always drops on ACTUAL good news and rockets on RUMORED good news.

And there already is a Zune phone. My HTC/WM5 phone, in addition to having removable/expandable storage and battery, streams any one of tens of thousands of internet radio streams, in full stereo 192kbps MP3 or 92kaccPlus or WMV or any other number of formats (over my $20/mo unlimited 1.5Mbps connection). I can surf the "REAL" internet, complete with Flash, and it's all touchscreen until I want to type, then I can use a real keyboard if I want, or stick with touchscreen. Last, I can sync with Windows Media Player (really sync, not just wipe / copy ala iTunes), and even write my own apps. I can run real GPS navigation and Live! Search and Google Maps and a million other programs because MS doesn't try to control the product after I buy it. I can even set ANY MP3, WAV, or WMA file to a ringtone or any other system sound for that matter.

They don't need to release a Zune Phone. They already make a great mobile platform. Also we don't forget that the marketing started years ago, they just opened the "dam" and the water started flowning quickly the first days but next months. The price cut can help to increase the sales or may not.

So, you cannot extrapolate (74 days = 1 millions -> 148 days = 2 millions).
