iPhone SIM unlock open source code, application released!

We've got it fresh from the people who engineered this piece, people; hacker Zappaz and his crew have released an early, dirty, uncompiled version of their proof of concept iPhone SIM unlock source code. Hit the link and check it out -- we just suggest that unless you're a serious hacker you not use it yourself (yet) until the kinks are worked out.

Update: iPhone Dev Wiki is reporting that another compiled unlock solution has appeared, called iUnlock, developed by the iPhone Dev Team with credit to Zappaz. We've yet to verify that either solution works, but the iUnlock software appears to be in a more complete state. More up here.

Yes. Don't use this hack straight away first look search on deactivating your phone "jon dvd" deactivating search will find you that. Basically use itunes 7.0.54 (from old apps) use "jon dvds" patch with ue-edit and the host file mod. that will activate it straight off. or can try
http://www.dvdtoiphone.net/unlock-iphone.html what ever works. then search on uploading apps. once you can do that.. or ready to move onto unlocking the phone with this.

it is essential to put the files in the /usr/bin folder.
don't put it in /var/root, this would give you a permission denied error.

Its simple, i uploaded iunlock-Contains-Files.rar ..
Its contains the nor ,fls and the unlocker.

Move all these files to your iphone via ssh, and run iunlock via the ssh. Make sure all files are in same dir, and there u go :P unlocked. U might need to minicom into the baseband and at+CLCK

run iunlock ICE03.14.08_G.fls nor

***Minicom into the tty.baseband***

Minicom

type :

AT S7=45 S0=0 L1 V1 X4 &c1 E1 Q0

AT+CLCK="PN",0,"00000000"

AT+CLCK="PN",2



( if you cant write in the minicom, start Commcenter again and stop it again)



***start comm centre***

/bin/launchctl load /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist

How did you get it to start to unlock im using windows and have ibrickr on and wiNstaller on my system im not hot on uploading so if someone coule make it easy that would be so cool and i think i speak for everyone with a iphone THANK YOU DEV TEAM we are all greatful

I did everything up to putty. I try to connect, using the i.p. address of the network i connect to in wifi. I get "network error: connection timed out".
