sooo knowing the ipod nano is said to be pretty light mp3...which takes care of balance issues.

ur next problem is the 'earphones' ...being a runner myself my most annoying problem is the ear-phones coming out on every other step i make...and i dont realli see that problem going away from the looks of that design.

I have the new iPod nano. The thing is freaking TINY, and I have mine safely nestled in a 5th Generation iPod sleeve (the one that actually came with the iPods at that time). It fits perfectly. I fold down the flap on top and secure it with a velcro tie. Perfect. It fits in my pocket and I barely notice it.

You don't need to stick it on your hat, on your arm, or in a special pocket on a jacket. It's small enough to fit in normal pockets on normal clothes without being in the way.

OK, so you people who jog in short-shorts and can't be bothered to wear a trainer's jacket or t-shirt with a pocket might have a use for an armband, but really, you look stupid and you're spending a lot of case for what is basically a strip of fabric with an iPod-sized pocket in it. A tube sock and a needle & thread would accomplish the same thing for 1/8 the price, and you'd still get to look stupid.

(Oh, wait. You don't look stupid because of the armband. You look stupid because you're a JOGGER.)

What's next? A jock strap with an iPod pocket? iPod bra?
