Iqua BH-702 Bluetooth pendant headset rolls through FCC

Iqua, maker of fine Bluetooth equipment everywhere, has hopped into the Bluetooth-headset-as-weird-jewellery business with the BH-702. Featuring A2DP for your wireless stereo listening enjoyment, 9 hours talk, 7 hours music, and 150 hours standby time, all on a 2 hour charge. The BH-702 hangs about your neck while in use, and while we dig the convenience, we often find that this configuration puts the mic. too far from your mouth and increases noise as it shuffles about on your clothing. No word on pricing or availability yet, but we expect now that this leg of the journey is done Iqua may just see fit to announce the thing.

...mic too far...
...noise...shuffles...clothing...
Oh and did we mention that pendant electronics are ugly as fuck!

look at all those wires and the size of that bluetooth radio unit - whats the point???
Paul @ Sep 18th 2007 4:32PM
It's the latest thing! Bluetooth components on wires, the irony is the true art.

you all should check out Sony Ericsson's version, it's pretty clean looking. You can even search through your contacts with it and make calls on a tiny, sexy oled screen. I'm about to pick one up and pair it with my se phone and my brand new hp tx1000 lappy. check it: Sony Ericsson HBH-DS980.

The whole point of A2DP is not to be tangled up in wires! This thing looks like a medical pacemaker from the 80's

These companies need to hire fashion designers, this looks like something my grandmother had in a drawer by her bed at her nursing home.

I didn't see keithwalker's post above, well, either great minds think alike, or other sorts of minds do too.

Not to be too anal or anything and I know its a really tough word but it's spelled J-E-W-E-L-R-Y.
Now that bluetooth hunk of plastic looks like complete shit. I would rather use regular wired ear pods then have a large bluetooth pendant whacking at my tits. Hell, they don't even try to dress it up with some cheap ass rhinestones or overpriced swarovski crystals.

haha, yeah,I guess in the States it is but where I'm from it's jewellery, made by a jeweller. I catch 99% of these spelling diffs, but not all :)
Thanks

I like the concept because the current BT Stereo headsets look like earmuffs. This is lighter and it looks more like an audio earpiece. I hope it makes it here.

I like it personally because the design is simple enough and looks easy to use.
