I plugged them into my PS2 slim. I could watch movies and play games of my choosing and did not have to wait on the morale tv/playstation to free up. They were also a great way to escape. Outside goggles: crapistan in all it's dusty glory and bunkmates squabbling like hens. Inside goggles: FFX2 with all it's tropically clad glory and hot chicks. I've yet to see a product that does better than 800x600. Once we have eyewear that is HD quality, the market will begin to change. People will like what they see and eye fatigue will be less of a problem. So why are they flooding the market with yet another mediocre goggle when they should be spending development money on breaking the 800x600 barrier while still making goggles for under $400. So to answer who buys these things? I do. I don't care if I look like a dork. I'm the one who owns the big screen tv in this tent! And I can't share it!

pregunta

Comments on Kopin, SENSIO collaborate on new 3D eyewear

TDVisor

jimmyfinch

Comments on Kopin, SENSIO collaborate on new 3D eyewear

They fell off my radar. Looked more like vaporware as this year progressed. Never heard any release dates. The I4U interview looked fishy. Icuiti also looked like vaporware, yet I've tested the VR920 and found it to be a vast improvement to my Olympus Eye-Trek. However, it's 1024x768 is actually a scaled 800x600. If TDVisor actually delivers some day at a decent price, great!

pregunta

Comments on Kopin, SENSIO collaborate on new 3D eyewear

This is all very nice and I 've tried a lot of these displays, but when are we going to get full wrap around vision, surely there's a way with the right size LCD and the right optics to increase the field out to the edge of your peripheral vision, then I can retire from the real world.

CB

Comments on Kopin, SENSIO collaborate on new 3D eyewear

http://www.sensics.com/products/pisight.php

Don't like how they don't have pricing.
