The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." --John Stuart Mill, English economist & philosopher (1806 - 1873)

I learned this philosophy as an Air Force Academy cadet in 1991. I served my time, got out, joined Dept of Homeland Security, left there and now serve as a civilian with Dept of Defense.

Let me tell you, the people I've served with, military, civilian & contractor, are some of the sharpest and best people I've known. To question their intellect, minimize their sacrifice or cast dispersion on their character is a crime of inestimable proportions.

Wwhat, you are a coward. You mock and ridicule a class of hero you do not understand solely based on -- you know what, I won't even pretend to understand why you do it. I won't presume to tell you or anyone else your intentions or motivations because I can not relate to nor can I understand them. However, from what I gather -- based solely on what you've revealed in your tirade -- you're perfectly content to allow someone else to defend your privilege as an American citizen and to guarantee the "rights" that came with your birth. And you feel justified in mocking them. Behavior like that is the lowest form of humanity; the justified malcontent, the privileged pansy that I and others like me have accidentally sworn to protect and defend with our blood and lives while we choose to serve those who proudly wear the name and title "American".

Go back to your hole.
