I could use that rubbish PMP for half a day without it dying. Not to talk of support..LMAO! there was not even "grain or scratch" given to the PMP. After one firmware update toshiba sent out a few months after it was released, that was it. You were left in the wild to fend for yourself from any problems you might encounter...
Toshiba should stick to their chips, TV and laptops because their attempt on PMPs is basically CRAP!! i would have giving them credit for the interface but it microsoft so they should quit investing their money on such garbage.

Adoniteking

Comments on Toshiba intros WiFi-less Gigabeat T400

I take it none of you realise this is probably going to be the basis for the flash Zune.

ilh

Comments on Toshiba intros WiFi-less Gigabeat T400

damn the zune looks better

dcny

Comments on Toshiba intros WiFi-less Gigabeat T400

So they release a NEW product with less features? Apparently even though the screen goes blank the device doesn't actually shut off when you stop using it (without pressing the on/off button). Serious design flaw that could easily have been fixed with a firmware update. But like someone said toshiba doesn't support their products...

slyng1

Comments on Toshiba intros WiFi-less Gigabeat T400

*pukes* THIS IS THE SUCCESSOR TO THE GIGABEAT S!?!? 4GB!?!? I bought one last week. Although it may not have the best features or even close to an acceptable storage capacity, it does what it was designed to do better than just about anything out there; play music. The audio quality coming out of this thing is absolutely superb. I personally like the interface because of its simplistic and bug free navigation; no learning curve whatsoever.

Check out anythingbutipod.com. They don't have a full review up yet (11/13/07), but they confirm what I have experienced.

Corrado891
