The quality is amazing, much much better than it's predecesor HD2a. The sample videos taken by day to day people are so smooth even in low light and the H.264 definitely helps here. It's better than production grade DVD movies. Ok, i know DVD is lower resolution than 720p but that's the point I am trying to make here.

I am ordering one for X'mas this year!!

Monto

Comments on Sanyo's Xacti DMX-HD700 is world's smallest and lightest 720p camcorder

The DMX-HD1000 is 1080i, not 1080p.

Dan

Comments on Sanyo's Xacti DMX-HD700 is world's smallest and lightest 720p camcorder

looks hot.

deniz

Comments on Sanyo's Xacti DMX-HD700 is world's smallest and lightest 720p camcorder

I've almost bought one the previous versions of these babies while in Japan three months ago and unfortunately there was no english menu/support at the time, hopefuly they'll release one for the international market this time

Kucho

Comments on Sanyo's Xacti DMX-HD700 is world's smallest and lightest 720p camcorder

Pretty retro look.
