When I was in College years ago I was an M.O.D at Best Buy.  HP laptops always felt of higher quality than the Toshibas whch seemed to have plastic that bent and flexed under pressure. Have you tried any of the new satellites NOW?<br><br>I've worked with the older Satellies and I must say they did feel cheap. Now I have the chance to work with a new one and it feels very sturdy. The smooth finish is very nice too. If I was to lug a 17", it would be a WSXGA+. I'd say for every dead HDD I have in another brand, I probably have four BIOS issues with a Toshiba. U305 seems pretty similar to prior model.<br>Just bought a 305, like it so fat. Much better than the prior HP, I hate the HP hidden partition nonsense.
