HTC sells 800,000 Touch handsets
Sure, Apple managed to move a cool one million iPhones in 74 days, but for HTC, it too has quite a lot to be proud of. Since launching the Touch in Europe / Asia this past June, the company has reportedly sold some 800,000 units, and even the CEO admitted that the figure was "better than he expected." Notably, no forecasts were given for the Touch Dual, but if the original is any indication, we're sure it'll do alright for itself.

That's impressive.
Moreso when you consider that HTC phones are not always branded as HTC (eg., the Cingular/ ATT 8525). So HTC has no big brand equity, just a great track record of producing well built Windows Mobile phones.
The HTC Vogue for sprint will do much better.
HTC seems like a great company. Anyone figure out how to invest in HTC stock?
I know it's only traded on the Taiwan stock market.
Stock price is probably really high by now.
It may be high now (I have no idea), but I think HTC stock continue to increase in value. They are doing great in several foreign markets... and are poised to dominate the US market.
And is yet to come out with sprint with evdo. Wonder how many more sales will it add, I sure I'm buying it when it comes out for sprint.
i have to say HTC does a great job making windows devices, i would never own another windows device again but HTC makes them look so cool and the great specs cant hurt
