Looks very similar to a pair of Sennheisers which were no where near that price. If it's really $80 and not mis-information then anybody thinking of buying that would be much better off buying Sennheiser HD280Pro headphones and a clip-on mic for $30 more. And if you're going to get $100, better go all the way and pair them with a nice Creative X-Fi sound card, or the cheap versions at least, like the Xtreme Gamer or Xtreme Music.

JDizzle

Comments on Razer announces Lycosa keyboard, Piranha headset

Not everyone uses WASD...

Justin

Comments on Razer announces Lycosa keyboard, Piranha headset

And not everyone who does does so in Qwerty.

When I'm not using colemak, I'm using my gamepad bindings-- speaking of /my/ using the thing, does it need special drivers at all? I've been tempted by a few -- the Logitech G15 has some nice features, but the tricolour backlight of the Eclipse II is really the major sell point for me. Red and purple are the brightest, and a good deal brighter than the blue most backlit keyboards have. Plus, it's quiet, responsive, solid and well constructed, and has a good bounce. It's the best keyboard I've tried, and I've tried quite a few.

Mindfield

Comments on Razer announces Lycosa keyboard, Piranha headset

I'm not quite the Razer fan boy, as I don't go around touting Razer above all else, but I have owned, so far, a Boomslang mouse and currently a Deathadder mouse. I've not been let down by their quality. I'm currently using a slim, compact eluminX keyboard and might replace it with this new Razer kb. It looks pretty nice and would go well with the mouse I'm using. If the surface material is the same as on the mouse, so much the better. Not sure about the headphones, though I do need some type of mic/headphone combo: I've got too many cables running around here something simpler would be nice.

jason

Comments on Razer announces Lycosa keyboard, Piranha headset

funny..
in portuguese, "piranha" means "whore" "slut"

michelle rocha

Comments on Razer announces Lycosa keyboard, Piranha headset

Why would the Brazilians name those fish a whore/slut?

Scott

Comments on Razer announces Lycosa keyboard, Piranha headset

I don't know .. actually I can't say to you if the word "Piranha" came first to the fish or to the women who sell their body.. one word to two totally different things. Laugh, yeah, that nifty little port on top that was supposed to be used for our "Battle Sight" camera or our "Battle Light" led light? It's been over a YEAR and no announcements yet.
