Blusens intros GPS units with satellite imagery
Tired of looking at your lame, barely defined, primary-color GPS renderings, wherein the difference between your exit and a POI is merely a few hues on the RGB-wheel? Well, a company called Blusens wants to help you out... for a price, of course. The company has just introduced two new GPS navigators (the G01 and G02) that feature slick looking "real" maps (a la Google's satellite images), onto which GPS data is overlaid. The effect is pretty impressive -- and more than a little helpful if you're driving past some notable landmarks. The G01 features a 4.3-inch touchscreen, a 30GB hard drive, SD / MMC card support, plus video, audio, and still image playback. The G02 is much of the same, though it packs a 40GB hard drive and Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP support. The G01 will be out in November for a not-so-cheap €499, and the G02 is due sometime in early 2008, no word on price. Check the video after the break to see the magic happen.
