Yay Nokia, kings of green. Let me call in my Greenpeace donation right now! Oops, my N95 just short-circuited. The thing is that, portraying an extremist point of view issues, as Greenpeace, PETA, ALF, and the ELF are known to do, cause people to discount their views.  Greenpeace and PETA are poor ambassadors of their views to Joe Everyman, which hurts their causes more than it helps.  If they were to switch from an activist role to, say, more of an educational role, they'd be more successful in bringing people to their ideology.
