If it's fast enough, I might think about putting my work source code on it (16-20GB when built). Built times on a 3-drive RAID-0 are awesome, but the usual RAID-0 issues apply.

Lots of sites benchmark USB flash drives. Benchmarks would be pointless if all memory automatically kept up with USB transfer rates.
