THAT'S THE BEAUTY OF IT!  The display only uses power when it needs to change the image.  If it doesn't need to change it remains static.  You could theoretically put an image on an e-paper display, remove the power source, & the image would not change!  JUST LIKE PAPER... I think you guys are missing the point of e-paper all together.  <br><br>In order to get refresh rates capable of displaying video, you would most likely find that power consumption would be similar to modern LCD's.  The purpose of e-paper is to create a durable electronic book, that uses very little power, & can be updated via a wireless connection, not to replace the LCD.
