Truly portable. The interface is very graphical with top of the line map display. The menu is very easy to use. A big surprise was also the number of video formats and quality. Better than any others I have played with near these price points.

Suey25

Comments on V7 lets loose budget-priced NAV730 and NAV740 GPS units

exiciting information

drgandhisj

Comments on V7 lets loose budget-priced NAV730 and NAV740 GPS units

My 740 is arriving from newegg today!

Freetolio

Comments on V7 lets loose budget-priced NAV730 and NAV740 GPS units

My main dissatisfaction was the sync-up time. The main differences are the screen and the POI entries. I really like the 730. You can get it at FRY's for $139. Mine worked right out of the box and guided me home from Fry's - text-to-speech and all! It's well worth the money! Look around the web and you'll find a few hacks for it that increase its capabilities too.

On another note, thank god Apple doesn't make a GPS device or we'd all have to hear the lemming Fanbois troll the forums telling us that their piece-of-you-know-what device is better than all the rest.
