I think an HDMI toting '2408' is primed for release, and given the combined AV nature of the HDMI feed, I would hope that it will incorporate discrete stereo speakers over those tacky soundbar extensions that you can buy for current models. Otherwise putting HDMI on a new line of monitors is a bit of a waste of time and effort.

Here's to hoping. I *JUST* got my 1520 the other day... I am pretty happy with it... although I don't see any real difference between this and my 1520 other than the available HDMI. Of course, there's no mention of what nvidia graphics options are going to be available.
